Choctaw Cultural Center's Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate the anniversary of the Choctaw Cultural Center in Calera with a day of children's activities, interactive classes, demonstrations and the reveal of the new "Bok Abyaia" exhibit. Learn how to play stickball, witness a social dance exhibition or join a chocolate making class in the Cooking Classroom. Guides will take guests on a tour of the Choctaw Cultural Center and the newest exhibits throughout the day. Spend the day soaking in the rich culture and history of the Choctaw Nation.
The Choctaw Cultural Center opened in 2021 as an immersive experience for visitors to learn about the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. The center features rotating exhibits about the Choctaw's earliest settlements, today's tribal communities in Oklahoma and more.
