The Lincoln County Express is a roadside oddity that can be found along Route 66 in Stroud. Originally created in the mid-1970s by pipeline welder Paul Hicks, this metal train fell into disrepair after his death in 2001. For nearly two decades the train rusted away under vegetation until the City of Stroud purchased, restored and placed the child-sized locomotive next to the popular Rock Cafe. Stop by during daylight hours for a fun photo opp.
