The annual Emerson-Wier Liberal Arts Symposium features a keynote address from a top author in the literary field. In 2019, hear best-selling author Emily Esfahani Smith speak about her latest "The Power of Meaning: Crafting a Life that Matters" book, which studies the art of instant gratification in the modern age. Listen to Smith's inspirational talk, and discover meaning in life through belonging, purpose, storytelling and transcendence in a sea of anxiety, stress and uncertainty.
