Jonathan Richman in Concert
Head to The Blue Door in Oklahoma City for an energetic performance by American singer, songwriter and guitarist Jonathan Richman. Richman has been playing music, recording and touring for most of his life. In 1970, he founded the Modern Lovers, an influential proto-punk band. Since the mid-1970s, Richman has worked either solo or with quieter electric backing.
Wherever they play, Richman and his drummer Tommy Larkins seem to amass a devoted following, and this Oklahoma City show will be no different. Enjoy this duo's low-key, acoustic sounds live.
