Although she’s a world traveling performer that bounces from coast to coast, Oklahoma native Kristin Chenoweth still loves to support her home state as well as her hometown of Broken Arrow.  This route reveals a store where the Broadway star has shopped for Oklahoma City Thunder gear along with highlights from Chenoweth’s childhood. Stop 1: Broken Arrow High School

Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1986. Kristin says, “I was very lucky. I was a cheerleader, but I was also kind of a nerd. I was in choir and drama and I was also in the French club…I’m pretty sure I was the only one that auditioned for the school musical.”

Stop 2: Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center

Kristin Chenoweth performed at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center in March of 2014. Kristin held master classes and performed at the BA PAC to help raise money to send Broken Arrow students to New York City in order to perform at Carnegie Hall. In 2012, the center renamed one of their most popular theaters the Kristin Chenoweth Theater after the Tony Award-winning star.
